Before her transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), Dale had many questions about aortic stenosis and treatment, for example: “What caused this?” “How do I fix it?” “What happens if I do nothing?” When she was invited to be a part of the Aortic Stenosis Preferences Study team as a patient adviser following her TAVR, she jumped at the opportunity to be able to help others and use her communication skills for the ASPIRE Study.
